About Tradaro
Official trade records, published as they are filed
Trade records exist, they are official, and they are published. They are also scattered across the statistical releases and company registers of every country that files them, in formats that were never meant to be read together. Tradaro loads them into one place, market by market, and links them: the commodity a trader imports or exports, the partner countries it moves with, and the entry on the official company register behind the name.
The goal is the largest index of official import and export records anywhere. That is not what is loaded today, and this page will not pretend otherwise. One market is loaded: the United Kingdom, imports and exports, 892 commodity codes across chapters 02, 03, 04 and 16 of the tariff (meat, fish, dairy and eggs and prepared meat and fish), over 126 months of statistics, Jan 2016 to Jun 2026, extended with each HMRC release. Further chapters, further registers and further markets are in development, and every one of them stays labelled as such until it is loaded and checked.
Filed records, not scraping
Everything comes from what the authorities publish: HMRC uktradeinfo for the trade statistics, the Companies House register for the companies. Names and descriptions appear exactly as they are filed, spelling included.
Companies, not people
The sources describe registered businesses and their declared commodity movements. Read how that data is handled in the privacy policy.
Every number is sourced
The figures shown here draw on HMRC trade statistics and the Companies House register. Their source queries and measurement dates are documented in the project.
